*THE TALLEST TOWER*
by Olivia and Gabi

On September 18, 2007, our class did a challenge called the Tallest Tower. We built towers using 11 index cards and 5 inches of tape. The object of this challenge was to build the tallest tower using these materials. You could cut the cards using scissors, bend them, fold them, or tape them together any way you wanted. We had to be careful, since we couldn't replace any cards or tape if we messed up.
This activity was a lot of fun. It was hard to save tape and keep your tower balanced, but we did it! We all learned a lot about creative thinking, because you don't usually build tall towers in your everyday life. We had to think outside the box!
