The Big Picture     Our current medieval traveler is Xuan Zang, a monk who traveled from China to India during the 7th Century to visit sacred sites and collect Buddhist texts. As we investigate Xuan Zang's story, we will explore the geography of Southern Asia, learn about the Tang Dynasty(from our Chinese exchange teacher Yan Ke), & study the basic history and ideas of Buddhism.
